Q - Do I need dance experience?
A - No dance experience is necessary for Introduction to Middle
Eastern Dance or Middle Eastern Dance for Beginners. You must have a solid
background and strong technique for the Intermediate class. If you are unsure
about which class is right for you, please feel free to contact me.
Q - Am I too heavy/too thin?
A - You are the perfect size for Middle Eastern Dance. This
dance form does not discriminate. It works well and looks beautiful on all body
types!
Q - Is Middle Eastern Dance good exercise?
A - This dance is great exercise. It will get your heart
rate up without any jumping or impact. It is easy on the knees and back and provides a
full body workout.
Q - What should I wear for class?
A - Leggings, yoga pants or bike shorts and a tank top, t-shirt
or crop top are fine. You can dance barefoot or in ballet slippers. Make sure
your clothing is comfortable and cool. Wear something you won't mind sweating in.
Q - Do I need to bring anything to class?
A - Bring water to class and if you have a scarf, shawl or sash
to tie around your hips it will help to better show your movements. For students who
are interested, there will be hip scarves, dance tops, pants and CDs available for
purchase at class.
Q - Where are classes held?
A - All classes are held in Westchester County, NY. Studio location will
be announced when classes resume.
Q - How do I sign up for classes?
A - You must mail in a completed registration form with your
payment. Once your payment is received, you will get confirmation by email or regular
mail. You can request a brochure that includes a registration form by calling

Q - Do I have to pre-register for classes?
A -Yes, pre-registration is required.
Full payment must be received prior to first class date. Walk-ins will
not be permitted.
Q - Does TooHip! offer refunds or
credits?
A - There are no refunds or credits for
unattended classes. No exceptions. Please consider your schedule before committing to a
class session.
